Running a Nonprofit is Hard
As a new founder of a nonprofit organization, I ask myself every day why I chose to do this. When hardships feel most suffocating, the question becomes even harder to answer.

Running a nonprofit is harder than most people realize. There are many challenges that come up every day. These include:
- Create products
- Managing a board of directors
- Finding money to support the organization
- Organizing volunteers
- Understanding complicated laws
- Measuring how well the organization is doing
One of the biggest challenges is keeping good people involved and committed to the cause. These difficulties can appear suddenly and often, making the work demanding but important.
Until today, I have handled almost every task by myself.
The emotional toll can be significant. There are moments of doubt when progress seems slow, and the constant pressure to do more with limited resources. Currently, I'm striving to balance my main job—yes, I'm a full-time employee at another company—with my work at RainbowVI.
I've seen some progress, such as product development and fund applications. Let's see what awaits me at the summit of this climb.
