Vi brings 12 years of expertise in creating, executing, and managing e-learning projects and programs. More importantly, she is a passionate innovator who thrives on making the impossible possible. After immigrating from Vietnam in 2017, Vi quickly established herself as an industry specialist, thanks to the support of professional communities in Canada. Driven by a desire to give back, she founded this non-profit to leverage her skills and enthusiasm for the benefit of the community.
Soyeon is an international development professional with over 8 years of experience in project management and Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning (MERL). She is deeply passionate about driving positive change and improving people’s lives through her work. She also has a great interest in innovative approaches to data analysis and evaluation. During her free time, Soyeon loves running and exploring new hiking trails.
Chan, an experienced executive with over 8 years in operations and logistics in Canada, excels at problem-solving and improving the bottom line. Since 2019, he has been the branch manager at Primo Water, Richmond, enhancing EBITDA and leading health and safety initiatives. Chan has extensive experience in transportation and logistics and a strong passion for education, having tutored and volunteered for over 10 years. He's very passionate about education and so he is excited to be a part of the board of directors for RainbowVI.
Alexander is currently employed as a software engineer for a consulting firm and is no stranger to education. Before switching career paths, he was an ESL teacher for two years in the Korean public school system and over three years in various ESL colleges around Vancouver. He is passionate about providing a quality learning and mentoring environment for children of all backgrounds. Alexander hopes to bring his various skill sets to RainbowVI and foster its growth so that support for learners can be available to all who need it.
Jessica loves being with nature and spending time with her fur babies. Her biggest pet peeve is trying to check off her to-do list and then fill it up with more to-do’s later on. She possesses expertise in project management and cybersecurity. Jessica is proud to be a part of Rainbow, and I hope to contribute more to its growth!
Patricia, a retired Land Use Planner, lives in a rural lakeside community and enjoys gardening, painting, writing, and photography. Her career began in building construction and estimating, with a technical college graduation in 1986. Over 26 years, she served as a development officer and Director of Planning in Western Canada. Patricia values education paired with practical work opportunities and strongly supports providing learners with mentorship to reach their full potential. She hopes to bring these opportunities and experiences forward to encourage others to achieve their best.
