Want to join the research?
Separate from the bootcamp, you can choose to take part in a research study run by UBC, BC Children's Hospital & RainbowVI (led by Dr. Shelina Babul and Dr. Michelle Bauer). If you join, you'd be a research participant in one or both of these ways, each with a gift card to thank you for your time.
Two ways to take part in the study
Study option 1 · Focus group One quick session
- ~1 hour, online, after the bootcamp
- Share what helps teens feel well
- Your name is never used in reports
Study option 2 · Advisory committee Help guide it all
- ~ 1–2 hrs, online, a few times a year
- Shape how the research works with youth
- Help write about the results, if you want
Joining the research is your choice and separate from the bootcamp — you can do the bootcamp without it. You can stop at any time with no consequences, your information stays private, and gift cards are emailed to you with a parent/guardian notified.
