Volunteer Learning Coordinator: Key Task List

1. Training & Event Coordination

  • Assist in scheduling volunteer training sessions, workshops, and webinars.
  • Send invitations, reminders, and follow-up materials to participants.
  • Support logistics such as venue/room booking, equipment setup, and online meeting links.
  • Help prepare and distribute training materials before sessions.

2. Learning Support

  • Assist trainers and facilitators during sessions (e.g., note-taking, tech support, managing breakout rooms).
  • Answer volunteer questions related to training resources or access.
  • Provide one-on-one guidance to volunteers who need help navigating training platforms or materials.

3. Resource Management

  • Maintain and update the volunteer learning resource library.
  • Ensure all learning materials are stored, labeled, and accessible.
  • Upload and organize training recordings, slides, and handouts.

5. Feedback & Improvement

  • Collect post-training feedback surveys.
  • Summarize feedback for the training team to review.
  • Suggest small improvements to training materials or delivery based on inputs.

6. Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Training Lead, program staff, and volunteer coordinators.
  • Support communication between trainers and volunteers.
  • Assist in promoting upcoming training opportunities through newsletters or bulletin boards.
