Month 1: Onboarding & Foundations

Week 1: Orientation & Understanding RainbowVI

• Welcome meeting with Vi
• Introduction to RainbowVI’s mission, vision, and learning platform
• Review of existing course demos and well-being course structure
• Overview of the role and expectations
• Access to relevant resources and tools

Week 2: Learning Design Basics & Course Development Process

• Training on course design principles (e.g., structuring lessons, learning objectives)
• Introduction to RainbowVI’s course development workflow
• Reviewing existing course content to understand tone, style, and format
• Researching best practices in e-learning and youth education

Week 3: Course Content Review & Initial Contributions

• Reviewing draft content for an upcoming course and suggesting improvements
• Editing or formatting content to align with course standards
• Creating a content organization system for course materials

Week 4: Assisting in Course Content Development

• Drafting an outline for a small course module or lesson
• Coordinating with subject matter experts (if applicable)
• Gathering and structuring additional resources for course content

Month 2: Hands-on Course Development & Training Support

Week 5: Designing Course Components

• Developing engaging learning activities, quizzes, or discussion prompts
• Refining learning materials with feedback from Vi
• Assisting in designing visuals or presentations for lessons

Week 6: Training Program Support & Coordination

• Helping plan logistics for an upcoming training session or workshop
• Organizing learning materials for easy access by trainers and learners
• Tracking learner engagement or collecting feedback from test users

Week 7: Content Finalization & Testing

• Reviewing a course module for clarity, accessibility, and engagement
• Making final edits and preparing materials for potential testing
• Assisting in a pilot test or gathering learner feedback

Week 8: Reflection & Next Steps

• Reviewing completed tasks and key learnings from the first two months
• Providing feedback on the role and any challenges faced
• Planning the next steps for continued learning and project involvement
