In this role, you'll be a strategic, flexible, and independent force, operating on a project-by-project basis. You'll have the freedom to work remotely, set your own hours, and manage your workload to fit your schedule. You'll be your own boss, but you'll also be an integral part of our team, collaborating with us to achieve our shared goals. Think of it as the best of both worlds: the freedom of freelancing with the satisfaction of contributing to something meaningful.
We're a new and evolving NGO, so we're looking for someone who can roll with the punches and adapt to change. You'll be instrumental in shaping our processes and systems, so a spirit of innovation and problem-solving is a must. You'll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, embrace new ideas, and be willing to learn and grow with us.
In addition to project-based pay or hourly rates, we may offer a retainer fee for ongoing projects. A retainer fee is a set amount paid regularly (e.g., monthly or quarterly) in exchange for your commitment to work on our projects. The retainer amount and duration can be negotiated, and will depend on the scope and frequency of the work required. Retainer arrangements are a great way to build a long-term, collaborative relationship with the NGO while providing a consistent income stream for you.
