RainbowVI Educational Association is a non-profit educational organization. Its goal is to create a set of online tools that deliver self-development resources to young people with Asian backgrounds and support their success. The organization produces online, mobile-friendly micro-learning. It uses prestigious Learning Management Systems in the market to manage the participants and learning process.
Content Advisor:
- Provide guidance and support to the content development team to ensure the course material is accurate, engaging, and aligned with best practices in mental health education. Course content including the below themes:
- “Can-do” attitude
- Take care of yourself: Physically
- Take care of yourself: Mentally
- Take care of yourself: Rest
- Review and provide feedback on course materials, including lesson plans, activities, and assessments.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and trends in mental health education for youth.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to ensure the course content is relevant and impactful for the target audience.
- Provide recommendations for improvement to ensure the course meets the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.
- Work closely with the project manager to ensure the course is delivered on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong knowledge of mental health and education, with a focus on youth.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and suggestions.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Experience with online course development and delivery.

In this role, you'll be a strategic, flexible, and independent force, operating on a project-by-project basis. You'll have the freedom to work remotely, set your own hours, and manage your workload to fit your schedule. We're a new and evolving NGO, so we're looking for someone who can roll with the punches and adapt to change. In addition to project-based pay or hourly rates, we may offer a retainer fee for ongoing projects. A retainer fee is a set amount paid regularly (e.g., monthly or quarterly) in exchange for your commitment to work on our projects. The retainer amount and duration can be negotiated, and will depend on the scope and frequency of the work required. Retainer arrangements are a great way to build a long-term, collaborative relationship with the NGO while providing a consistent income stream for you.
