About Us: RainbowVI is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the well-being journey of young people. We are building products and courses to help with personal growth, set meaningful goals, connect with like-minded peers, and participate in events designed to enhance mental and emotional health. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Application and Grants Fund Specialist to join our team. In this volunteer role, you will be instrumental in researching funding opportunities, preparing grant applications, and managing the grant submission process to secure resources that support our mission.
This is a part-time and unpaid volunteer position (5-8 hours a week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Identification: Identify potential funding sources, including grants from foundations, corporations, and government agencies, that align with RainbowVI's mission and programs.
- Grant application: Prepare and submit compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and organizational goals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with program staff to gather necessary information for proposals and reports.
- Database Management: Maintain records of grant submissions, funding received, and reporting deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Working towards completing/completed a Bachelorās Degree
- Excellent writing, communication, and networking skills
- Experience with grant/proposal writing
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to uphold accountability and self-directed time-management
- Passion for youth well-being and alignment with RainbowVI's mission and values
