RainbowVI Course Creation Process

At RainbowVI, we follow a four-step cycle—Discovery, Design, Development, Delivery—to create short, interactive courses that empower young people with knowledge and tools for well-being and life skills.

🔍 Discovery

Goal: Understand what young people need to know and why it matters.

We begin by exploring what topics are most relevant to youth well-being. These insights shape the course objectives and structure.

Key Tasks:

  • Research youth needs and challenges around the chosen topic
  • Define the target learner group (age, background, context)
  • Draft 3–6 learning objectives that address real-life impact
  • Identify any knowledge or experience learners need beforehand (Learning outcomes see Bloom’s Taxonomy)
  • Sketch a simple course outline and break content into clear sections

✏️ Design

Goal: Write content that speaks to youth and invites participation.

We transform the outline into a script that is engaging, accessible, and ready to be delivered through Tally.so, our course platform. Interactivity and storytelling are prioritized.

Key Tasks:

  • Write a full course script (clear, short-form, youth-friendly tone)
  • Add interactive elements (quizzes, reflection prompts, decision points)
  • Plan how learners will do, not just read—engaging them with micro-actions or short tasks
  • Draft simple visual or storytelling ideas if needed for stronger delivery

🛠 Development

Goal: Bring the course to life on Tally.so with engaging delivery.

We convert the script into an interactive learning experience directly on Tally.so, incorporating multimedia and feedback loops when possible.

Key Tasks:

  • Build the course in Tally.so using the prepared script
  • Format content for mobile-friendly viewing
  • Add interactive blocks (questions, branching logic, feedback)
  • Ensure smooth pacing and visual clarity
  • Test the experience from a learner’s perspective

🚀 Delivery

Goal: Launch the course, gather feedback, and plan improvements.

We publish the course and ensure learners can access it easily. After launch, we evaluate its impact and keep improving based on feedback.

Key Tasks:

  • Share the course link with youth channels or partner organizations
  • Track learner feedback and completion data
  • Review engagement and quiz results to assess learning outcomes
  • Update or improve based on youth feedback and internal review
